IATF 16949:2016 Updated Certificate

VD MAIS has updated certificate of compliance of the firm’s QMS with the requirements of IATF 16949:2016 standard.

The certificate is available for review in “Quality Policy” section of VD MAIS corporate website.

Industry standard IATF 16949:2016 is intended for certification of enterprises involved in supply chains of components for automotive industry. It replaced the international technical specification ISO/TS 16949:2009 “Quality management systems. Specific requirements for the application of ISO 9001:2008 in automotive industry and organizations producing the corresponding spare parts.”

VD MAIS received ISO/TS 16949 certificate in February 2015 and became the first EMS provider in Ukraine certified for manufacturing PCBAs for automotive applications. In 2017, the firm successfully passed an external IATF 16949:2016 audit and became the first enterprise in Ukraine with QMS certified according to the latest international standard for the automotive industry.

In 2018 and 2019, the enterprise successfully passed the first and second supervisory audits (inspection control). The recertification audit was held at VD MAIS this year in January. DEKRA Certification GmbH from Stuttgart, the largest in Germany and one of three largest in the world QMS certification centers, carried out the audit.

It should also be noted that in spring of 2020, after a series of external audits, VD MAIS has updated its ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 13485 certificates.
